New Aadhar Card Enrollment : Document

  • To enroll for a new Aadhaar card, you will need to provide certain documents as proof of identity, address, and date of birth. Here are the commonly accepted documents for new Aadhaar card enrollment:

How to Update : Adhar Card

  • Update Aadhaar" or "Aadhaar Update" section.
  • On the next page, select the appropriate option for updating Aadhaar details. There are three options available:
  • a. Update Aadhaar Online: This option allows you to update certain details online without visiting an Aadhaar Enrollment Center.
  • b. Request for Update by Post: This option is available if you are unable to update online and need to send your update request by post.
  • c. Find an Enrollment Center: This option helps you locate the nearest Aadhaar Enrollment Center for updating details in person.
  • If you choose to update Aadhaar online, you will be directed to the Self-Service Update Portal. Enter your Aadhaar number, captcha verification, and generate an OTP (One-Time Password) to proceed.
  • Login using the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
  • Select the field(s) you want to update, such as name, address, date of birth, mobile number, etc.
  • Fill in the new/corrected information as required and upload supporting documents as proof for the requested updates.
  • Review the changes, ensure all information is accurate, and submit the update request.
  • Once the update request is submitted, you will receive an acknowledgment slip containing an Update Request Number (URN). Note down this number for future reference and tracking.
  • The updated Aadhaar card will be issued after the verification and validation of the requested changes. You can download the updated Aadhaar card online or receive it through the postal service.

How to Download : Adhar Card

  • To download your E-Aadhaar card, you can follow these steps:
  • Visit the official UIDAI website (uidai.gov.in).
  • Under the "My Aadhaar" section, click on the "Download Aadhaar" or "Download E-Aadhaar" option.
  • You will be redirected to the E-Aadhaar page.
  • Select the appropriate option to download your E-Aadhaar: Aadhaar Number (UID) or Enrollment ID (EID).
  • Enter your Aadhaar number or Enrollment ID, full name, PIN code, and the security code displayed on the page.
  • Click on the "Request OTP" button.
  • You will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) on your registered mobile number.
  • Enter the OTP in the provided field and click on the "Download Aadhaar" button.
  • Your E-Aadhaar card will be downloaded in PDF format.
  • To open the PDF file, you will need a password. The password for the E-Aadhaar PDF is the first four letters of your name in CAPITAL letters followed by your year of birth (YYYY).

  • Open the downloaded PDF file using the provided password.
  • Now, you can view and print your E-Aadhaar card.
